Lingumi 7.6 We're changing our curriculum!

We are so excited to tell you the big news of the Lingumi update! In the middle of December 2019, we renewed the curriculum and secretly launched 7 new games in Lingumi. We’ve also added more sentence practice activities in those lessons!

Here are the instructions for our new game!

Rocket Launch

In 'Rocket Launch' you'll be sorting objects into a rocket, to be sent into space. The rocket is about to take off, so get ready! 🚀

There are two versions of this game: 

• In the 'label' game, we teach your children individual words by sorting them into the right spots in the rocket. 
• In the 'check' version we check if your child can remember each word, by asking them to find the right objects for the right windows of the rocket. Have fun!

Magic Transformation

 In 'Magic transformation' you are invited to a magic show like no other. Pick a card to help the magician cast his spell. What's the worst that could happen? 🐰

There are two versions of this game: 

• In the 'label' version we teach your child a few words as they drag them onto the magician's stage. 
• In the 'check' version we check if your child can remember each word, by asking them to find the objects that the magician wants to transform. Have fun!

Animal Transformation

In 'Animal transformation' you'll see a hungry frog waiting to be fed. What will happen when you feed him? You'll have to find out yourself 😉

There are two versions of this game: 

• In the 'label' version, your child hears the new words by dragging them into the frog's mouth...and watching what happens. 
• In the 'check' version of this game we check if your child can remember the words, by feeding the right items to the frog at the right time. Have fun!

Feed The Bird

In 'Feed the bird' you'll see a bird who needs your help. Drag and drop food into the bird's mouth and see what happens.🐥🥚

There are two versions of this game: 

• In the 'label' version, your child learns individual words. 
• In the 'check' version, we quiz your child on what they have learned, and ask them to identify specific words, one at a time.

Raise The Flag

In 'Raise the flag' your child will customise the castle by decorating the flags. Drag and drop units into the flags to open up the castle gates and reveal a surprise.🏰

In this 'wrap' game your child can create a sentence using whatever words they choose. The sentence will then be shown visually with some funny animations. There are two variations of this game which gives you the choice to either choose 2 or 3 words with which to create your sentence.

Wheel Of Fortune

In 'Wheel of fortune' your child is the contestant on a game show... Stop the wheel 3 times to win a prize! 🎁

In this game your child can create a sentence using whatever words they choose. The sentence is then shown visually with some funny animations. There are two variations of this game, in which each gives you the choice to either choose 2 or 3 words with which to create your sentence.

Lingumi Action Builder

In 'Lingumi action builder' your child is in control of Bob's actions. Build an action using a number of words, and watch him go 🕺🏻

In this 'wrap' game your child can create a sentence using whatever words they choose. The sentence is then shown visually with some funny animations. There are two variations of this game which gives you the choice to either choose 3 or 4 words with which to create your sentence.
