Make a penguin

What you need:

2 Paper plates | Black card | Yellow card | Scissors | Glue | Black paint | Paint brush

Activity:

Start by painting one of the paper plates black, then set to one side to dry. While the paint is drying take the second paper plate and cut out the centre circle and then create a heart shape at the top. Once you have done this draw or paint two eyes onto the white paper plate. Take the yellow card and cut out two feet and one beak and then cut two flippers out of the black card. Once the paint is dry you can assemble your penguin. First glue the white circle onto the centre of the plate, before adding the beak, feet and flippers. Encourage your child to name the colours as you play make the penguin and then once it is complete as them to repeat the word "penguin".
